Undergraduate

B.Eng (Electrical and Electronic Engineering) Programme

The division of control and instrumentation provides several courses on engineering mathematics and modelling and control for the B.Eng (EEE) programme. These mathematics courses serve as foundations for study of electrical & electronic engineering subjects.

Second year:

E2006 Engineering Mathematics I
E2007 Engineering Mathematics II
E2090 Basic Engineering Mathematics

Third Year:

E3011 Modelling and Control

General Electives:

E8087 Living with Mathematics

Final year:

In the final year of the B.Eng (EEE) programme, the division of control and instrumentation offers two final year specialisations for students in the Electrical and Systems Engineering Final Year Option.

1) Intelligent Systems and Control Engineering
2) Biomedical Electronics

For the two specialisations, the division provides a variety of courses for students to choose according to their interests or career goals. We provide several book prizes such as ABB Gold Medal cum Book Prize, IEEE Control Systems Chapter (Singapore) Prize, ABB Book Prize and Motorola Book Prize to recognize students’ achievements in these courses.
